The native Apps have several advantages over using the App in a web browser that will improve your experience with the test:
- Native Apps utilize the whole device screen without losing any space to web browser controls.
- Native Apps prevent accidental navigation in the browser (like refresh or back functions) that can interrupt your test process.
- Native Apps will resume correctly if accidentally terminated during the 15 minute timer.
- Native Apps can utilize your device's notification system to alert you when it is time to place your sample or interpret your results, even if you switch to using another app
- Native Apps offer saved User Profiles, which make it easy to handle multiple users on a device and avoid entering your information multiple times.
- Scanning the QR code on the test cartridge works better with native apps.
- Native Apps make it fast and easy to enter your information, by allowing you to scan your driver's license instead of typing.
- In general, native Apps perform better than the web App because of restrictions that Google and Apple place on browser based applications.
